Two major television productions have expanded their casts with significant new additions. HBO’s Harry Potter adaptation has found its young Tom Riddle, Dobby and a new Ginny Weasley, while Canadian drama Heated Rivalry is bringing Milla Jovovich, Kevin Zegers and Paul Gross into its second season.

Heated Rivalry is expanding its Season 2 ensemble with three recognizable performers: Milla Jovovich, Kevin Zegers and Paul Gross.

Jovovich, internationally known for films including The Fifth Element and the Resident Evil franchise, will play Dr. Galina Molchalina, a psychologist who works with Ilya Rozanov.

Kevin Zegers has been cast as Brandon Wiebe, coach of the Ottawa Centaurs, while veteran Canadian actor Paul Gross will portray hockey commissioner Roger Crowell.

They join returning leads Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, who play rival professional hockey players Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov.

The second season has been building a considerably larger ensemble. Other previously announced additions include Justice Smith, Charlie Gillespie, Emily Hampshire, Edvin Ryding, Robert Naylor, Sabrina Jalees and Priyanka.

Season 2 is expected in 2027, with the series airing on Crave in Canada and streaming on HBO Max in the United States.
