Child Safeguarding Policy
How ACCA protects child performers (under 18). Representation of a minor is only possible through a verified parent or legal guardian.
Guardian consent & verification
A child can only be represented via a parent or legal guardian account. The guardian's identity and relationship to the child are verified before any child profile is created.
Restricted information & communication
A child's public profile shows restricted information only. There is no public direct messaging to a child — all communication is routed through the guardian.
Consent for work
Separate consent is required for images/showreels, auditions, and each specific production. School schedule, availability, emergency contacts and any medical/accessibility needs are stored privately.
Staff, records & incidents
Access to child data is restricted to designated staff. Safeguarding notes and an incident-reporting procedure are maintained internally.
[ACCA / safeguarding officer to finalise this policy in line with local law and child-protection standards before any minor is onboarded.]
