Jonathan Levine, known for Long Shot, is confirmed to direct. Cruise is also producing alongside Jerry Bruckheimer and Tommy Harper.

Paramount has scheduled the film for theatrical release on June 2, 2028, with plans to release it in premium formats including IMAX.
