Streaming Giant Brings Major Films and Series to Two of the Year's Biggest Film Festivals

Netflix has revealed its lineup for the 83rd Venice International Film Festival and the 51st Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), showcasing a wide range of original films, international productions, and television series set to premiere during the 2026 fall festival season.

Among the titles appearing at both festivals is Danny Boyle's Ink, which will open the Venice Film Festival before screening at TIFF. Netflix previously acquired the U.S. and Latin American distribution rights to the film, making it one of the platform's most anticipated releases of the year.

Another major title is Possible Love, directed by acclaimed South Korean filmmaker Lee Chang-dong. Netflix financed and will distribute the film globally, with its world premiere taking place in competition at Venice before screening at TIFF.

The French legal thriller Un bon avocat (formerly titled Clean) will make its world premiere out of competition in Venice, while TIFF will host additional Netflix premieres including On Behalf of My Son, Gentle Monster, La Bola Negra, and the animated feature In Waves.

Meanwhile, Reliant Music has partnered with Warner-owned ADA Benelux to combine independent A&R with international distribution and label services. Together, the agreements show how distributors are becoming more involved in AI licensing, artist development, marketing and international growth.
